Soletrol Company
Soletrol
leads the solar water heating market in the Americas, and
is one of the biggest manufacturers in the world. The company
created in 1981, has more than 400 employees, and markets
its products through a network of over 500 retailers. In
its headquarters in the state of São Paulo, Soletrol
built a modern training center, called "Praça
do Sol", where technicians and visitors can improve
their knowledge of solar water heating. There, permanent
installations showcase plumbing and solar heating systems
technology and training is provided by the center’s
staff. Soletrol enjoys a reputation for innovative solutions
in engineering and technology development in the solar water
heating sector. Every model of solar collector made by Soletrol
is tested and approved by the official Brazilian labelling
program, which classifies the collectors according to their
efficiency, following international ASHRAE and ISO standards.
Soletrol’s headquarters, in the south-east of Brazil,
consists of more than 7000m2 of built space, situated on
its own property of 46.000 m2. Soletrol promotes its products
and the solar water heating technology through constant
advertising and participation in congress, seminars and
trade shows. Soletrol also manufactures products for other
companies, according to their specifications (OEM).

Soletrol, solar water heaters are manufactured according
to strict quality control standards, from the materials
employed to the automated production processes. Our solar
collectors are manufactured with copper tubes, copper or
aluminum fins, stainless steel or aluminum casings, polyurethane
(CFC free) foam insulations and silicon seals. The materials
employed in our products are supplied by companies like
Alcan, Alcoa, Eluma, Rhodia, Saint-Gobain, Pilkington, Acesita-Usinor
and Microship. Soletrol also has an OEM division, that manufactures
special parts, including digital temperature controls, systems
and accessories for other solar water heating manufacturers.
